    1. Q: Of what material are Crocs™ made?
    2. A: A material we call Proprietary Closed Cell Resin (PCCR) which is NOT plastic NOR rubber. PCCR is closed-cell in nature and anti-microbial, which virtually eliminates odor.

    3. Q: Why name a shoe Crocs?
    4. A: We came up with the name Crocs because crocodiles are tough and strong animals with no natural predators. Crocodiles are equally good in land and water and live for a very long time, a great description of our Crocs shoes!

    5. Q: How did you come up with the idea of Crocs?
    6. A: On a Caribbean sailing trip from Islas Mujeres, Mexico to Miami, FL in May of 2002, three Boulder, CO natives began dreaming about the perfect boat shoe. They wanted a shoe that incorporated function, fashion, and fun, was slip-resistant and waterproof, didn't smell and would be the most comfortable shoe in existence.

    7. Q: Where are the shoes manufactured?
    8. A: Our wholly owned subsidiary, Foam Creations in Canada produces the majority of our shoes for North America. We also manufacture in China, Italy, Mexico and the U.S.

    9. Q: Where can I purchase Crocs?
    10. A: Our Crocs retailers can be located by using the following link:Store Locator

    11. Q: Why are Crocs beneficial for my feet?
    12. A: Beyond being comfortable, the shoes have some features that make them especially good for feet. The shoes are designed with built in arch support, circulation nubs, and an orthotic heel cup to support and protect the heel. In addition, the Crocs are ventilated for cooling and filtering purposes, as well as slip and marking resistant.

    13. Q:Do you have Crocs for kids?
    14. A: Yes. Our kids sizing starts with C8/9, C10/11, C12/13 and then M1/W3, M2/W4, M3/W5 and M4/W6. Our shoes chart can be located by using the following link: Sizing Information

    15. Q: How do I care for my Crocs?
    16. A: Caring for your Crocs is easy. To keep your Crocs in good condition, you will want to avoid long-term exposure to heat or sun, such as a dish washer, washing machine, or hot car, as this can cause the shoes to shrink or warp. You can keep your classic Crocs clean by hand washing them with cold water and a mild soap.
If you have metallic leather Crocs, clean gently with a soft rubber sponge or slightly damp rag. Use a leather cream to restore shine and a protector spray to repel water.
If your Crocs are made with smooth napa leather, remove dust and dirt with a damp rag. Use a cotton brush to apply a natural waxy shoe cream or wax. Apply slowly in a spiral manner.
Patent leather Crocs can be gently wiped with a clean damp cloth or you can use a professional product which had been designed to clean patent leather. Never use harsh chemicals such as alcohol, detergent or liquid, as they will remove the shine and luster from your shoes.
For wedges and heel material, a damp cloth should remove most dust and dirt. Avoid solvent cleaners whenever possible as these may destroy the glue used to bond the sole.
For suede and lambswool Crocs, clean upper gently with soft wire or plastic brush, and spray with impregnation spray for water repellence.
Leather Crocs can be cleaned gently with a damp rag or brush. Apply waxy shoe cream and polish with soft brush, cotton or wool rag to restore luster.
For elastic/stretch material, gently clean with a damp rag or soft rubber.

    17. Q: What happens when the tread wears down on my Crocs?
    18. A: Just as the tread on a performance tire wears over time and loses its ability to grip the road, the tread on your Crocs shoes will wear as well. When it does, the slip-resistant nature of your Crocs will be compromised. So when the treads are worn, treat your feet to a new pair!

    19. Q: What is the difference between the Beach and Cayman model?
    20. A: The Beach was our original and wildly successful model. However, because it comes in only six sizes, it didn't fit the "between" sizes perfectly. So Crocs introduced the new Cayman model to address the "tweener" issue. The Cayman comes in individual sizes from children's 8/9 through adult 13. It also has a slightly narrower foot bed and softer circulation nubs. It is the perfect comfort shoe for all sizes, "tweener" or not! The main difference in the two shoes is that the Cayman comes in whole number sizes while the Beach model is sized XS through XXL.
